I See Rainbow [Project Rainbow Cameo]

10:30 AM

Salam and hello!

First and foremost, I would like to thank you all who has been following this project for some time. I hope the looks we had half way provided you are helpful in any way possible :)

That said, according to the introduction post here, there are 8 themes altogether meant for this project. The 7 basic colours of the rainbow and 1 whole rainbow itself - totalling to 8!

So which theme did I, project leader, had gotten?

Yes, I am creating a look that is made entirely of this theme itself, and probably the most easiest theme around (cheater!) hehe. At first I was planning to put up outfits that will be of rainbows, but then I thought...
"Too many colours, someone will end up looking funny."
And that definitely would not be my intention! Ahhhh. So in the end I had decided to do an eye makeup look for this theme!

This was my first attempt! I had posted this up on Instagram (@shyuewa) before. But the colours weren't as vibrant as it should be. (At that point I was lacking an essential item to make it vibrant!). It ended up fading faster lol. Additionally my shawl was also looking "busy" at that time (I was already late somewhere!).

Thus, my second attempt!

Forgive my rather unruly brows. Pfftt. It seems that I keep getting something messed up.

For this look, products I have used:

Eyes: Urban Decay's The Brow Box, Artdeco Eyeshadow Base, NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, BH Cosmetics' Take Me To Brazil Palette, Fashionista Single Eye Shadow in Nude Glimmer, Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Volume Waterproof Mascara

Face: Benefit's Porefessional (sample size!), Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin in Sand Beige, Rimmel Matte Perfect Loose Powder, Bare Minerals Mineral Foundation Powder, Inglot Cream Concealer in Light, Benefit Hoola (sample), Catrice Loose Moisturizing Highlighter in C01 Bloomynous, Sleek Blush in Rose Gold

Lips: Obuse Lip Tint in Cherry Red, Yves Rocher lipstick

Tools: Real Technique Powder Brush and Blush Brush, Sigma E35, F80 and F82, Nature Republic's Eyebrow Brush, The Face Shop Eyeshadow Brush, Definite Pencil Brush, Tony Moly Fan Brush, Avon Powder Brush

And I just realised this time my Red did not stand out T___T This is the first time I had done something so bold! *shivers* And for your information:

Crease: Orange and Indigo (I put on these two first before moving on to the lid)
Lid: Yellow, Red, Green, slight touch of Violet (patted on in this order, don't forget to blend and soften the edges!)
Lower Lash Line: Yellow, Blue, Violet (also in this order)

I did not want to put on fake lashes as I wanted to make the rainbow as the centre of attention. This look is a tad different from my first attempt too. I put the Green on the lid for the 2nd instead on the lower lashes on the 1st one.

In case you are wondering, I did went out to the mall with this eye look.! Mom was rather impressed too heheh..

I hope this did not turn into a lengthy post! If you are interested to know how I did this look you can also chat me up via Facebook Page, Bloobs Blurbs II :D

Oh and do not forget to check the rest of my fellow ladies for the 7 themes! Til then ❤️

P/S: Stay tuned too, as something exciting will be coming once this project is completed!~
