Salam and hello!

Yet another episode of something off my checklist when in Kuching. Haha! One fine day, I saw a fellow blogger buddy of mine, +Josephine Ong ,who posted up her thoughts about this juice on her instagram. Got intrigued and excited because this type of thing has reached Kuching at least! Lol. (KL always have these babies v.v) and thus into my check list lol.

Before we begin, let me share something on cold-pressed juice.
"According to the cold-pressed converted, these juices contain more vitamins, minerals and enzymes than those made with a traditional centrifugal machine. It's all in the method, apparently, as the fresh fruit and vegetables are, as the name suggests, "pressed" so the maximum amount of nectar is extracted from the pulp and fibre, leaving a raw and fresh juice. - (source)"
As you can see, I've purchased three flavours out of a few from The Raw Kitchen Malaysia. Will try to explain some of the benefits carefully haha.
The Master - Apple, Lime, Lemon, Cayenne & Chia Seeds // RM 12
Cayenne contains capsaicin, which is a potent inhibitor of substance P, a neuropeptide associated with inflammatory processes. Capsaicin is being studied as an effective treatment for sensory nerve fiber disorders, including pain associated with arthritis, psoriasis, and diabetic neuropathy.
Lemon // Vitamin C-packed, antioxidant-rich, natural antibiotic, skin brightener
Energizer Bunny - Pineapple, Carrot, Turmeric, Lime // RM 12
Turmeric is one of the most potent natural anti-inflammatories available! It offers natural support to the body when dealing with arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, cystic fibrosis, and other inflammatory-related diseases. It has also been shown to be highly anti-cancerous, inhibiting cancer cell growth and metastasis!
Pineapple // Vitamin C-packed, anti-inflammatory, digestion aid, antioxidant-packed, energy boosting, nature’s candy
Carrot // Antioxidant- and Vitamin A-rich, beta carotene-packed, vision booster, free radical fighter
Buddha-ful Beets - Beet, Apple, Lemon, Orange // RM 12
As carrot and apple also make up the main ingredients of this recipe, the juice is very cleansing, has some laxative effect which encourages bowel movements. Beetroot has too many healing virtues to mention here. This juice is potent and detoxifying, so it may cause dizziness to some people. When this happens, drink LOTS of water.

I'm not in vain for trying the juices out of my comfort zone! Buddha-ful Beets was the most tolerable for myself, never tasted beet before. The Master was the hardest on my throat because of the cayenne haha - recommended to drink after eating a lot of oily foods. Energizer Bunny's pineapple was strong, along with the turmeric. Perghhh. I'm looking forward to try out the Salad Bowl one day! Still have loads of flavours to try!
